Summer Slovak Language Course
This year´s Summer Slovak Language Course will be held in Study Centre in Modra-Harmonia. The dates of the course has been set from 13th July to 31st July 2009. Also this year, we have prepared many leisure time activities accompanied by morning´s Slovak language classes. Indonesian Film Festival on 3- 5 March 2008
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bratislava in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Prague and Cinema Mladost in Bratislava present the first Indonesian Film Festival which will be held in Cinema Mladost on 3- 5 March 2008. The films reflect Indonesian culture so that may boost understanding particularly of the Slovak people on Indonesia. All films with English subtitles and admission is free. Screening of the films will be headed by a short opening ceremony with music presentation by Indonesian talented student from Vienna on March 3, 2008 at 17:35. Seats may be reserved through the Embassy.

Mexican days in Bratislava
The Mexican embassy in Slovakia organised "Days of Mexican Culture" on 24th May 2007 in culture house in city part Dúbravka. One of our students, Juan José from Mexico, actively participated on the opening programme as an excellent guitar player. Click on the title to see the photos.

EXCURSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS THROUGH SLOVAKIA
Excursion took place during April 19-22, 2007. The Institute of Language and Academic Preparation for Foreign Students is one of the institutions of Comenius University in Bratislava. Foreign students from all corners of the world come to us to learn Slovak language since 1961. Some of them are on the scholarship from the Slovak Government and others are self payers. Both groups of students study together and have the same curriculum. Every end of the school year we prepare 4 day knowledge trip through Slovakia. It is like school in nature. Immediately upon arrival to the bus, the students receive a package that includes: map of Slovakia, note pad, itinerary of the excursion, song sheets of Slovak folk and other popular songs.

Beginning of the new academic year
On the 4th of September 2006 at 9:00 am, the new academic year of UJOP will officially start in its premises on Odbojarov 10/a street. We will welcome the new students, by the way, more than last year, who take part in our daily 5 and 10 months programmes of Slovak language.

Beginning of the Summer Course of the Slovak Language
On the 10th July 2006, at 9am, UJOP welcomed 29 participants from 14 countries for the Summer Course of the Slovak Language in the hall of the Academic senat of Comenius University.
